From a first look
to a useful agent.

Start with the source, understand how agents connect, or work through the questions behind a company deployment.

Keep your agent.
Give it a useful interface.

AG-UI connects an agent to the application people use. It carries the conversation, progress, and interactions between them.

  • Bring your framework

A compatible agent can join OpenBot without rebuilding its prompts, tools, and workflow around a new interface.

  • Follow the work

People can see responses and activity as the agent works, then provide the input it needs.

  • Connect the tools separately

MCP gives agents access to tools. AG-UI gives people a way to work with those agents. OpenBot brings both into the same workspace.

OpenBot, Intelligence, agents, and tools

OpenBot is the application where people work with agents. It connects to CopilotKit Intelligence for saved conversations and services such as learning and memory, depending on your plan and deployment.

Agents run the work. They use your chosen models and connect to tools and apps. You can use the built-in agent or connect one you already run through AG-UI.

Local, managed, and company-hosted services

For a local evaluation, OpenBot and its supporting services can run on your machine. A company deployment can use managed Intelligence or host it alongside OpenBot in your own infrastructure.

Your deployment stores the data for the services you host. Requests to external models and apps go to the providers you connect. Your choice of providers determines those boundaries.

AWS, Azure, GCP, and your own Kubernetes cluster

OpenBot uses a Helm chart on Kubernetes, including Amazon EKS, Azure AKS, and Google GKE. The chart is the same; the settings adapt it to your environment.

Plan for compute, persistent storage, a database, network access, and your identity provider. If you self-host Intelligence, include its services in that deployment plan.

Open source and service terms

The OpenBot application is available under the MIT license. CopilotKit Intelligence is a required service with separate terms, whether managed or self-hosted. Self-hosting it requires a valid license for that deployment.

The application’s MIT license does not change the terms for Intelligence, model providers, or connected tools. Our team will confirm the services and support included in your business agreement.
